1. Contouring

Good Day everyone!

Assalamualaikum!

so today onwards (up until 7 posts), i will be posting makeup challenges which everyone is dealing with these days. i created this myself just because i think these are the most common challenge that we (read: girls) face a lot technically.

well first thing first, i would like to clarify that i am neither a professional nor i am extremely good at these. it is just some information about the topic and how i made attempts on doing it, so, comments are very much welcomed and please don't be so harsh^^ haha.

for today, it's all about contouring. 

Contouring and Highlighting are like twins. they go well together.

Contouring is now the makeup trend everyone is talking about. It's aim is simply to accentuate your natural features by enhancing and defining your profile.

Contouring is defined as a shadowing technique to define and shape your features in the most flattering of ways. However, it is not meant to make yourself look like a different person. It has to look as natural as possible. 

fyi, i only do contouring for special occasions and i don't have many of those (meaning: i don't really contour >_<). haha.

to start with, you just need to apply foundations like you usually do. 

and i prefer to do my eyebrow first because it will be easier for me to slim and sculpt the width of the bridge of my nose.

i'm using:

• L'oreal Lucent Magique Hightlighting pen
• Elianto fionatto blush in 05 Pecan
• Sephora PRO Precision crease number 17 brush
• and a blush brush (i don't know the details because i have this for so long already :P)

please use whatever product you think will work for you. not necessarily have to be what i used.

i applied them all over my face like how the google image has sectioned

and below is the achieved look.

• more defined cheekbones
• slimmer nose
• deeper eyes

the only tips that i have is to blend very well. Lightly bring the colour onto the targeted section on your face.

and when you have finished contouring, all gotta do next is to complete the look with the rest of the make up ^^
