The Mutiara Abyra Foundation | Beauty Review

Assalamualaikum!
Good day! Feel so good to finally be blogging again. hehe.
I'm back with a makeup review for you guys! heeee.

About two weeks ago, Jane from Babeskin sent me The Mutiara Abyra Foundation to be reviewed.

So.. to start with, let's talk about my first impression on the packaging. In a pretty peach, slightly embossed square box, contains a plastic product container of almost an exactly same size as the box. Pretty nice packaging I would say; sleek black and white packaging with the pearl image (suits the name 'mutiara') on it, compact and sturdy.

I love the cool magnetic lid! Inside, there is a separate product and the sponge part. The product's net weight is 8 grams which is a very decent amount that could last long, but, the sponge is quite small for my liking.

I received the foundation in the shade NUDE BEIGE which is just slightly lighter than my natural complexion.

The Mutiara Abyra Foundation is a kind of the Two Ways Cake Foundation that can be used dry or wet.

it is said to have UV protection but it is not stated clearly like how much spf or pa etc

Note that this product contains 2 kinds of paraben which I believe is the common kind of paraben that is used as an effective preservatives and correlated with a low incidence of contact dermatitisafter all, even Cetaphil contains paraben as well, right?

It is also stated that this foundation contains perfume, but I don't really smell anything out of it, maybe because I don't know how it is supposed to smell but there is nothing unpleasant about it, just like how a typical powder foundation  should smell without the chemicals. na da. (Y)

Claimed to be formulated to minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines while creating a natural matte finish for the face and I agree to it. It instantly brighten up, reduce redness and mattify my complexion

my skin is in the worst state it can ever be these days! blame the combo of high stress level because of my final year project, viva and thesis, disturbed beauty sleep and the imbalance female hormone haha. I have got no time to actually care but thanks to this foundation, I get to cover up in instance so I don't irritate other people's eyes haha.

#nofilter #samelightingokayhaha

medium coverage (sheerer effect) is achieved by applying just the powder with the dry sponge. it feels very dry especially if you have dry skin and it is not moisturized well therefore I would say that it is more suitable for those with normal to oily skin.

on the other hand, full coverage is achieved when you apply it with the dampened sponge. can be quite cake-y if you apply a lot. so.. yeah.. don't do that. haha.

besides, it lasts all day long!

Close-up!

this, doesn't break me out even more, so that's cool!!

Overall, I would rate this product with 4/5 stars! It is really worth trying

Retailed for RM39 (Peninsular Malaysia) or RM49 (East Malaysia), you can place your order through the facebook page Babeskin365Official . :)

These emojis precisely reflect my feelings! hahahaha

Until next time!

Hot Buttermilk Chicken ! - How to

Assalamualaikum! Good Day everyoneeee!

I'm suddenly craving for buttermilk chicken T_T and then I remember I have the recipe draft entry when I last made it.

do you like buttermilk chicken?? if you do, you'll know exactly the problem when eating it; you can't have it too much. it will make you 'muak', feeling sick if you eat a lot. haha. hence, here's the twist to how you can enjoy it fully heeee.

super simple, the key is to make it super hot (only if you can stand the heat) or just hot by including small chillis (not cili padi, I just don't know what kind of cili it is but you'll see the them in a picture below) in the recipe.

I'll show you step by step tutorial and I swear, it tastes heavenly delicious (if and only if you like buttermilk flavour hehe)

Firstly, cut chicken meat into bite sizes. To give additional flavours and texture to the chicken, I fried them briefly after lightly coated them with egg and the seri aji spicy flour mix.

set the chicken aside and prepare the ingredients as below:
garlics, small chilli and curry leaves.

melt some butter

and saute all the ingredients in the butter. okay maybe you need to saute them one by one, I don't know, but I don't care. haha.

then, add ingredients below:
some evaporated milk and a little mozarella cheese

adjust the flavour with some salt and tadaaaaa! done!!

that's all for today!
thanks for reading!
