New Chilli Tuna! New Hotness Levels!! New Easy Recipes for you :)

Hi All!

Ayam Brand has come out with more new products! wow!
Last month it was the Tuna Flakes and Chunks in Organic. Read my last post on it here: http://najlaafir.blogspot.my/2017/09/3-easy-recipes-with-canned-tuna.html

Now they improved their existing Chilli Tuna with different hotness levels! Fuyo! haha.

They now come in 3 different levels:

1) CHILLI TUNA LIGHT
33% reduced fat comparing to classic chilli tuna
Just a little bit less spicy than the classic

2) CHILLI TUNA
the classic spicy chilli tuna

3) CHILLI TUNA FIRE HOT
Even more spicy!!
Spiciness level 5 out of 5!

Actually I have always been a fan of this Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna.
In fact, I have actually posted an entry back in 2011 on my favourite Chilli Tuna Sandwich Recipe.

Today, I have 2 more different recipes for you to try at home with the new chilli tuna! hehe. I'm just showing how I recently enjoy my chilli tuna :)

Nasi Goreng Kerabu with Tuna
(direct translated as Vegetables and Tuna Fried Rice hehe)

You will only need 4 ingredients for this fried rice.
I literally took anything left out of my fridge for this hehe.

1) Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna (I used the Fire Hot!!)

2) Leftover rice

3) Bunga Kantan (Etlingera elatior/torch ginger/ginger flower/red ginger lily/torch lily - I googled this haha) - Nasi Goreng Kerabu is incomplete without this, you cannot call it Nasi Goreng Kerabu
4) Kacang Botol (Winged bean)

Literally, stir fry everything, mix and done!! haha.

So easy, so simple and so delicious!!! XD

Just Another Cheesy Chilli Tuna Sandwich :P (I don't know how else to name it haha)
So this is another version of Chilli Tuna Sandwich. Different ingredients hehe

You will need:-
1) Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna (in Light)

2) Bread

3) Kewpie Cheesy Cheese Sandwich Spread Mayo

Mix the tuna with the mayo and spread it all over your bread! Done!

Yeayyyy so sedappppppp hehe

Try them yourself!

Last Minute Raya Treats (Kuih Raya) !!

Assalamualaikum! Happy 26th Ramadhan! Can't believe how fast time flies!! And Rayaaaaa is jusstttttt around the corner!

Have you prepared your kuih raya?? My family and I, this year, we don't really spend much on kuih raya. We plan to cut the raya costs with the kuih raya. In other words, we don't have much kuih raya this year and all those kuih raya we have are diy-ed. Economy man..you have no choice but to save and save.

So, I'm gonna share with you today, 2 types of the diy-ed kuih raya that we have which are extremely easy. I'm sure that many people will love it, especially you, the chocolate lover! *point finger* haha. I mean like, unless you're making business with kuih raya, why bother spend so much time making them. haha. I am THAT lazy. pfft! Hence why they are great for last minute preparation too; great additions to your kuih raya collection haha.

1) Pretzels

Ingredients:

the pretzels, of course. :P

chocolate compound or chocolate chips. you're going to melt it anyway, so it doesn't matter. there are so many types of chocolate; milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, even various flavoured chocolate, anything will do.

and non-stick baking paper.

Procedures:

melt your chocolate compund on the double boiler or using the microwave (if you have one) until it is completely liquidified.

then, dip the pretzels into the chocolate. (you can dip each pretzel just half or just throw all of the in the chocolate; the lazy Najlaa's style hahaha)
Tips: let the chocolate cool down just a little bit before dipping for the right consistency.

then, just leave them on the non-stick baking paper for about a few minutes until the chocolate hardened at room temperature or put them in the refrigerator (depending on the type of chocolate. some harden fast while some take so long)

practically, we're done!! they are good as they are. I swear it's one the easiest thing I have ever do in my life! haha. you better make it yourself!!

To make them look better, shape the edges for the neat finish. If you want them to look extra pretty, just sprinkle any kind of sprinkles you have. If you're using the strawberry flavoured chocolate you won't even need it but if you use like milk, dark or maybe white chocolate, sprinkles will definitely enhance the visual. huhuhu.

2) corn flakes

this, is I'm sure the must-have kind of kuih raya to most house. so, yeah, everything below is self explanatory. use the chocolate compound or honey, mix them until combined then put in the small paper cups with a little sprinkles on top. you can leave them like that or put into the oven for about 10 minutes for better adherence.

That's all for todayyy!
I'm so excited for raya, can you tell?! haha
Until next time, lovelies.

Hot Buttermilk Chicken ! - How to

Assalamualaikum! Good Day everyoneeee!

I'm suddenly craving for buttermilk chicken T_T and then I remember I have the recipe draft entry when I last made it.

do you like buttermilk chicken?? if you do, you'll know exactly the problem when eating it; you can't have it too much. it will make you 'muak', feeling sick if you eat a lot. haha. hence, here's the twist to how you can enjoy it fully heeee.

super simple, the key is to make it super hot (only if you can stand the heat) or just hot by including small chillis (not cili padi, I just don't know what kind of cili it is but you'll see the them in a picture below) in the recipe.

I'll show you step by step tutorial and I swear, it tastes heavenly delicious (if and only if you like buttermilk flavour hehe)

Firstly, cut chicken meat into bite sizes. To give additional flavours and texture to the chicken, I fried them briefly after lightly coated them with egg and the seri aji spicy flour mix.

set the chicken aside and prepare the ingredients as below:
garlics, small chilli and curry leaves.

melt some butter

and saute all the ingredients in the butter. okay maybe you need to saute them one by one, I don't know, but I don't care. haha.

then, add ingredients below:
some evaporated milk and a little mozarella cheese

adjust the flavour with some salt and tadaaaaa! done!!

that's all for today!
