Based on a survey conducted by Taiwan Tourism in 2012, the top attractions for inbound tourists are sights and sceneries, food and shopping. As such, the Taiwan Travel Fair will also highlight three major experiences under the theme of “Time to Enjoy Life”:
Time to Eat
When it comes to food, Taiwan has it all. Dine like royalty without paying a king’s ransom for it. From juicy seasonal fruits, sumptuous traditional Chinese dishes, healthy vegetarian dishes, icy desserts to creative tea drinks, Taiwanese cuisine makes full use of local ingredients and age-old techniques to surprise and satisfy your palate. Don’t forget the world-famous night markets, filled with the enticing aromas of delicious street food and snacks!
Time to Shop
Taiwan is a shopaholic’s dream come true, with many large shopping centres and chain department stores in all four corners of the island. Shop for anything you want, from high-quality made-in-Taiwan 3C products, to famous highland tea and handmade weavings. For the fashion lover, all kinds of affordable clothing, leather goods and branded products are at your fingertips. In Taiwan, you are sure to find just about everything you want.
Time to go on Two Wheels
These days, the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) trend is gaining popularity as people begin to be more health and eco-conscious. Taiwan is well-known for its LOHAS practices, and there is no better way to experience it than to travel along the breath-taking coastal highways by bicycle! Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and appreciate the simple yet wonderful things in life with your loved ones.

Homemade Crab Stick Snack : How-To
Monday, March 23, 2015
Crab stick is one of the must-have frozen food at my home. my family and I have been loving it since forever! well, usually, all we did was just detach the plastic, and put them into boiling water, hot oil or to the air fryer until we recently learned other way to actually enjoy this snack at a different level! haha.
below is the end product hehe :-
this is I call the home made crab stick snack. I guarantee you that they're a lot more delicious than those premade snacks!
well of course, you can do them as you'd like to, but I'm gonna tell how I get the more uniform shape and size.
- cut crab stick in half
- unroll
- and tear it apart
repeat the step for all crabstick.
I kid you not, as soon as I finish fry them all, all my family members surrounded the plate and finished in no time!
below are the tips I can give after few times of trial and error hehe :-
- do not fry on high heat because it is easily burned due to the salt they have in the crab stick. Also, not on low heat because it will become chewy. medium heat is perfect for nice and crispy finish!
- wait a few seconds before flipping them over or they will stick to one another.
happy trying!

until next time!

Slipper in my handbag
Friday, March 13, 2015
ad|
As much as I love heels, got to admit, it's not a very good option to go shopping with. they are not as practical as slippers. I always opt for slipper if I'm going shopping. In fact, I actually opt for slipper MOST of the time! If I wear heels, I always bring a pair of slipper with me.
my handbag is always occupied with slipper! well that explains why I don't always carry small sized bag. hee. besides, it's light enough to be carried around.
Google Image
be it flip-flop, slip-on or sandal. >_< I just can't stand getting blisters from wearing the heels. Plasters on my feet? I hate it so much! I'm narcissistic like that. haha. 'Beauty is Pain'? Comfort comes first PLEASE!
Trust me, it is always convenient to bring a pair of slipper with you. you never know what's going to happen to your (or to anyone's you're with) currently-wearing footwear. not to mention the comfort they provide!
Check out ZALORA's website for trendy slippers! They really do have wide range of affordable women slipper online of all sorts of brand.
Cool Tents in Paradise Valley, Broga
Tuesday, March 3, 2015
Do you know near the famous Broga Hills, exist this place called Paradise Valley? Honestly, I didn't. T_T
About last two weeks, I went there for a leadership camp organized for Western Digital trainees. No, I'm not going to say anything about the camp, it's just I discovered these cool tents which I believe deserved an entry heeee
all the tents are pre set up
look inside! there are 2 beds with a fan!
When I first saw the tents I was like, "sempit! (cramped)" . Until I went in, I can stand straight (I am 165cm btw) and it is actually quite cozy for a tent.
Cool, right?!
It's even more cozy without the beds (which was our case) ! haha. As much as we like the beds, we weren't provided with that. I guess the HR want us to experience a real camping :P hehe. We were only given a mat with a sleeping bag. Fan? We don't need one because it's already very chilly >_<
luxury room..I wish.. haha
This place is cool. I would highly recommend if you want to organize a camp or family day or anything like it! Besides going hiking, this place offer many other activities like flying fox, abseiling, wall climbing etc etc.
Well, speaking about hiking, from this Paradise Valley we can hike using the private trail, not the trail where people always use. Because it was my first time hiking, I cant't even compare haha but I guess private trail is better because there are less people. there were a few tour guides ( Paradise Valley workers) went up with us last time.
pool
Enjoy! >_<
That's all for now.
Thanks for reading!
Until next time :)
