Hiii everyone!
Assalamualaikum..! :)
so i'm going to continue with the makeup challenge No.4 which is Crazy Eyeliner.
today's subject is very freestyle and nothing can really define a crazy eyeliner look.
you can go all out with the eyeliner (i.e draw all over the face) but what i am going to show today is a wearable crazy eyeliner look.
this is definitely a look that you can wear even if you go shopping hehehe.
the best part is, you only need an eyeliner! let your inner artistic self out to create the look >_<
i'm using Maybelline Gel Liner in black
my roomate said they look like peacocks haha
they don't have to be perfectly symmetry. in fact, you can even have different pattern for each eye.
no, i don't know how i should style my hijab for the look T_T
maybe if you have an idea, you can share it with me heee >_<
looks crazy much? haha
Thanks for reading!
Till then! :))
disclaimer: i am neither a professional nor i am extremely good at these. this is just some information about the topic and how i made attempts on doing it. comments are very much welcomed.
3. Bold Lips
Friday, November 7, 2014
Assalamualaikum!
Good Day!
link for No.1 Contouring
link for No.2 Smokey Eyes
Today, it's Makeup Challenge No.3 BOLD LIPS timeeeeee!!
how you pull off a bold lip is how you make a statement with your lip colour.
but my favorite type of bold lips is the dark lips (!)
- ALWAYS prep your lips with a lip balm (my favourite is the Mentholatum Waterlip lipbalm) before applying a lipstick. scrub if necessary.
- i actually applied some pink lipstick (Rouge Dior in 765 Montmatre) which matches my undertone perfectly so that it will make my teeth look whiter.
- lip brush is used for better precision. you can use a lip liner if you want (a matchy shade is more preferable). the goal is to achieve the crisp neat bold lips.
- lastly is the application of the dark brown lip colour (i used Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede in 096 All Access). i really like the combination of a pink and dark brown colour! :D
And it is always a good idea to keep the rest of your makeup super simple when you’re sporting a dark lipstick.
oh yes, well..i don't make a very good example here, so here's one of my favourite celebrity's look with a bold lip:
High drama and dark burgundy lips is all it takes for Michelle Trachtenberg to look glamorous. is there any similarities with my look? haha. >_<"
That's all from me today.
Till then!
Thank for reading! :)

2. Smokey Eyes
Thursday, November 6, 2014
Good Day everyone!
Assalamualaikum!
It's my 2nd post for the makeup challenge! *clap clap*. haha.
This time, it's about smokey (or smoky. i'm not sure so whatever haha. sorry grammar nazi >_<) eyes.
click here to read about 1.Contouring
Smokey eye makeup is a makeup style used to create a dramatic and sophisticated look for the eyes. Deep and rich colours are used to achieve the smokey eye makeup style.
Although smokey eyes is often associated with a sexy, nighttime look, the kind of smokey that i would show you guys suits day to night time. it's a very wearable everyday look without making you look overdone.
More importantly, it suits everyone despite the eye shape, skin colour etc etc.
Below are the products and tools that i used to create the look:
Please let me know if you need a more detailed tutorial.
highlighted steps:
- smudge a creamy black eyeliner all over the eyelid using a stiff dome brush
- using the same brush, layer a dark brown eyeshadow and start to blend it upward and outward into the crease of your eyelid.
- apply the same dark brown eyeshadow to your lower lashline halfway
- Using a fluffy blending brush, apply a a matte matchy eyeshadow and and buff out harsh lines and blend, blend, blend
- a few coats of mascara will finish the eye look
One more important tip when wearing smokey eye makeup is to make the eyes the focal point of the face, wear a neutral lipstick or lip gloss.
if you want to pull off this look for night time (a more polished night time look), you can
- increase the intensity of the dark shadows
- apply eyeliner to your lid line, tight line and water line
1. Contouring
Tuesday, November 4, 2014
Good Day everyone!
Assalamualaikum!
so today onwards (up until 7 posts), i will be posting makeup challenges which everyone is dealing with these days. i created this myself just because i think these are the most common challenge that we (read: girls) face a lot technically.
well first thing first, i would like to clarify that i am neither a professional nor i am extremely good at these. it is just some information about the topic and how i made attempts on doing it, so, comments are very much welcomed and please don't be so harsh^^ haha.
for today, it's all about contouring.
Contouring and Highlighting are like twins. they go well together.
image below is from Google and it clearly explains what and how to do contouring and highlighting.
Contouring is now the makeup trend everyone is talking about. It's aim is simply to accentuate your natural features by enhancing and defining your profile.
Contouring is defined as a shadowing technique to define and shape your features in the most flattering of ways. However, it is not meant to make yourself look like a different person. It has to look as natural as possible.
fyi, i only do contouring for special occasions and i don't have many of those (meaning: i don't really contour >_<). haha.
soooooooo
to start with, you just need to apply foundations like you usually do.
and i prefer to do my eyebrow first because it will be easier for me to slim and sculpt the width of the bridge of my nose.
i'm using:
- L'oreal Lucent Magique Hightlighting pen
- Elianto fionatto blush in 05 Pecan
- Sephora PRO Precision crease number 17 brush
- and a blush brush (i don't know the details because i have this for so long already :P)
i applied them all over my face like how the google image has sectioned
and below is the achieved look.
- more defined cheekbones
- slimmer nose
- deeper eyes
the only tips that i have is to blend very well. Lightly bring the colour onto the targeted section on your face.
and when you have finished contouring, all gotta do next is to complete the look with the rest of the make up ^^
That is all i have for today.
Thank You for reading.
Please let me know if you have any comments, questions or perhaps you need a more details tutorial.
Till then!

our lips need hydration as much as our skin does.
and like how our skin need a moisturizer, our lips need a lip balm.
tinted lip balm is definitely one of the greatest beauty invention ever invented. it's the perfect lazy product. besides delivering enough hydration, it can also change your entire look!
i'm using my favourite Mentholatum Lip Ice Sheer Color:

tadaaaaaaaa

LANEIGE BB Cushion [Pore Control] SPF 50+ PA+++ Review
Friday, October 31, 2014
well.. technically, i'm not sure if this can really be considered as review. impression of the product will suit better because i only tried on the sample product. therefore this entry might not be as detail as it should be. after all, the actual size product and the sample product, they are the same thing, aren't they? i believe so. [click HERE to view my entry about sample products]
#nofilterselfie
after applying LANEIGE BB Cushion [Pore Control] SPF 50+ PA+++
the first thing that i notice when i want to apply the product is that it smells amazing!! i literally feel like i'm putting on perfume on my face but the smell doesn't really last long.
and the applicator is very unique. it feels so smooth on the skin.
the cushion is not overly damp with BB cream therefore as you press the applicator on, you will get just enough amount of BB cream.
i would say, the coverage is between light and medium. that's why you can clearly see my pimples here and there haha but pores are properly concealed. i think it's not a good idea to build it up to full because it's suppose to provide a natural finish. just a thin layer of product would do.
it provides quite a dewy finish,
brighten the skin tone and freshen your look
i personally feels that this product is more suitable for fair to light-medium skin tone and to dry skin type or i wouldn't recommend you buy it.
this small sample of product lasts for about 7 days after i opened it hence i assume the actual size will last very long.
that's all for now. till then! :)
How to make block letters in the simplest way and DIY keep calm board
Monday, September 22, 2014
well hi! it's still the beginning of the semester and everybody's like (oh maybe just me haha) is figuring out "how can i organize my things better, how to be and stay motivated, how to keep myself up with all the classes, assignments etc etc."
and soo in order to achieve those aims, here's my attempt!
decorating my pin board is done!
haha. well yeah. do not underestimate the power of your pin board! >_<
it's something that we see everyday and it does affect you.
besides, in my college's room, the board is provided for each of the student so why not utilize it.
and yes as you can see, i diy-ed the famous keep calm board.
well technically it's not a board. it is more like a poster or so and pinned it on a board. bummerrrrr haha
i know these days you can just print out the keep calm quote but i still believe that a diy-ed version wins the heart more.
that's what i want to share today, how i made it.
i remember when i was a kid, struggling to make block letters. yes, it needs a skill to make them. it takes time to develop the skill. it's even harder for a not artistic kind of person like myself.
but here's the trick to do them it a simpler and quicker way.
all you need is just a coloured paper and a correction tape! just roll it over like how you would normally write those letters and done! as simple as that.
or if you want the letters to stand out more (and you have more free time ;P), you can use a sharpie to outline the letters.
easy peasy!
and do not worry if it's not perfect. we are no robot or computer. it's those imperfections that will make your work is more unique.
let's bring out the artistic-inner-self in everyone! haha
